Dolby will be highlighting its latest technologies at NAB Show 2017 (Booth #: SU1702), and we’re excited to meet with partners, customers, analysts, and media from around the globe in just a few short days. With nearly a million square feet of exhibition space, there’s no shortage of quality content to see. We want to make sure those attending the show swing by and experience the myriad showcases that Dolby is assembling, so we’ve compiled a few highlights below.

Dolby Atmos®

If you’re mixing natively in Dolby Atmos, that mix can serve as the unified source for all downstream deliverables. For content creators, we’ll have a public demo to showcase the new Dolby Atmos content creation tools, and how Atmos can be the one mix for all playback requirements.

For VR, Dolby Atmos for Linear VR delivers breathtaking sound that deepens immersion in cinematic, experiential, and live VR experiences.

If you’re looking to get a broad view of where Atmos is moving, stop by our Customer Experience demo. Dolby Atmos originated in the cinema, but now, it’s moving mainstream. Dolby is making Atmos more attainable than ever, and we’ll have our latest device mix on hand.

Dolby® AC-4

Recently, Dolby AC-4 was approved as an audio standard within ATSC 3.0, the next-generation digital TV broadcast standard. We’re incredibly excited to share how AC-4 allows broadcasters the ability to provide enhanced immersive and personalized experiences. We’d invite you to stop by our Audio Momentum wall to see (and hear) for yourself.

Dolby Vision™

Dolby Vision momentum continues to expand throughout the entire ecosystem, from capture, distribution, and playback, to consumer experience. We’ll have demos showcasing both Dolby Vision content solutions as well as Dolby Vision Live workflows. We’re working with partners across the ecosystem to solve functional problems that ease the transition to live HDR broadcast. Our goal is to provide robust solutions that deliver the highest quality playback experience possible while reducing complexity and cost.

While the Dolby booth will be teeming with excitement, we’ll also be a part of the ATSC Showcase, UHD Forum Innovation Zone Demos, and other partner integrations.
